How To Get The Help You Need

This story is an awesome story which I've got it in the book written by "Norman Vincent Peale".I felt this story very realistic. If we really go to GOD as a sinner we'll definetly find HIM and can walk close to HIM.This is my assurance.So....dont stop reading this...

The Atheist who went to the Mountain

For years an atheist in a Greek village envied the serenity of a Christian friend. Finally, he asked his friend if he, too, might not find from God the same peace of mind.

‘Yes, I believe so’, replied the Christian, ‘if you get to know Him’.

‘But where can I meet this God?’

The Christian explained that he customarily went out several miles beyond the village and there met and talked to God.

The next morning the atheist walked out of the village until he stood before a mountain, and he cried out, ‘Lord God Almighty, discover to me the kind of being you are!’

And when he received no answer he again and again cried out the same words. He repeated this action every morning for several weeks and finally gave up. ’There is no God! ’he declared.

When the atheist again encountered his Christian friend he scornfully related his futile experience and alleged the Christian was indulging in self-deception.

‘Did you go out of the village, as I directed? ’ asked the Christian.

‘Yes, and I stood before that mountain day after day and called out to your God, and there was no answer.’

‘Why, there is no mountain out there,’ ’said the Christian. ’But, anyway, tell me, what did you say to the Lord? ’

‘I asked Him to tell me the kind of being he is.’

‘Well my friend,’ replied the Christian, ‘When I go out there I tell God the kind of person I am. I confess I am sinful and I recognize that purity and holiness cannot exist apart from Him. Then God appears to me and I gain a better understanding of Him.’

The next morning the atheist again went out beyond the village, fell on his knees before the mountain, and said, ‘Lord, I am sinful man; forgive me.’

And when the atheist looked up, the mountain had disappeared. It was only the shadow of his own self, and when self had no longer remained between him and God, and then he saw the Lord.

RALPH L. WOODS

We search the world for truth. We cull

The good, the true, the beautiful,

From graven stone and written scroll,

And all old flower-fields of the soul;

And, weary seekers of the best,

We come back laden from our quest,

To find that all the sages said

Is in the Book our mothers read.

THE BIBLE

JOHN GREENLEAF WHITTIER

Nine Keys To Contentment

Actually these are not written by me.But I generally read books of Mr.Norman Vincent Peale. In his book I found these...very intresting!!!!!!So go ahead.................

Health enough to make work a pleasure.

Wealth enough to support your needs.

Strength enough to battle with difficulties and overcome them.

Grace enough to confess your sins and forsake them.

Patience enough to toil until some good is accomplished.

Charity enough to see some good in your neighbors.

Love enough to move you to be useful and helpful to others.

Faith enough to make real things of God.

Hope enough to remove all anxious fears concerning the future.

Aren't they cute????? I like these pics alot. Hats off to the person who got an idea like this to capture such cute images with his camera................

I feel happy when I see such kind of pictures. GOD gave man such a flair to vivify their ideas and he has given a mind of appreciation for the beautiful things created by GOD.

Very little is needed to make a happy life.It is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.

  • Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.
  • Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.
  • Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted &blocked.
  • Don't bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
  • Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
  • Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.

Some healthy tips......

Dont think that I'm going to give a lecture on the health. There are some interesting healthy tips which are very useful for everyone to follow. If you want to maintain a physical fitness which GOD has given us we need to take care of our health and should not neglect it.

Actually I am not the author of all these tips....Actually I got it through mail .......hope u'll follow these tips and maintain ur physical health well......

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS

1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood
sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain
causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in
mental power.

3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and
nutrients causingmalnutrition and may interfere with brain
development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling
polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing
about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep
will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of
carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead
to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in
effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain
stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Too much eating.
3. Skipping breakfast.
4. Consuming too much medication.
5. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring , and
artificial sweetener.
6. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce
cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking > oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired,
except if the body is very fit.
7. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies
should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just
have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining
good eating habits and time condition are very important for our
bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to
"schedule."

Because :

Evening at 9 - 11 PM : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/
toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph
nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening
to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed
state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their
homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm - 1 am : is the detoxification process in the

liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 - 3 am : detoxification process in the gall, also
ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5 am : detoxification in the lungs. Therefore
there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during
this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the
respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as
not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am : detoxification in the colon, you should empty
your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9 am : absorption of nutrients in the small intestine,
you should be having breakfast at this time.Breakfast should be
earlier, before 6:30 am , for those who are sick. Breakfast before
7:30 am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who
always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is
still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10 am rather than no
meal at all.

Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of
removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00
am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have
a good sleep and don't sleep late.
